One Interesting Activity I've Done in March

Catching movies alone... I've gone to the cinema 10 times this month and watched a total of 8 movies.
Wondering about the 2 extra times??? I watched one of the movies 3 times. It was Professor Layton & The Eternal Diva. I was in love with the theme song of the movie, The Eternal Diva. It touches my heart whenever I listen to it.

This movie was actually originated from a Japanese video game. My friends and I are fans of the series. I watched the third time with one of my friends, but she never did complete the game and she does that to almost all her games. Finish them!

Here is another of my favourite, The Lovely Bones.

It is not just the regular thriller. It teaches us that some things are meant to be let go and not be forced on. Let nature takes its course and things will fall in place eventually. Thumbs up!

Next up, I have Agathe Cléry, a french comedy touching on race issue.

It was entertaining to see how someone who used to despise the black reacted when she found out she got a disease that would darken her skin so much so that she would look exactly like a black. It's like world going upside down for her.

Now, let's look at this poster

Christopher Lee. Local film. Usually I wouldn't choose to watch a locally made film, but I have to say that this one was well done, exciting throughout. It shows how far a father can go to have his son back, out of danger. Crazy stuff.

Another exciting film that I've watched was The Book of Eli

It is a religious film though. :)

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Childishly funny and entertaining. It was me getting in touch with growing up from a kid to a teenager. It's amazing to see how fast kids can change in look and thinking through those brief few years of what I called the Evolutionary Growing Years. Evolve, evolve!

Another comedy, When in Rome.

I thought it was funny, but the story line is stupid. The story got a little out of control towards the end.

This one made me doze off. Yona Yona Penguin.

It was fine, but I guess I was just too tired. I love Japanese Anime though.

Namie Amuro's latest tour DVD will finally be out on 9Th Sept 2009. I've been waiting very long for this. In the past, her tour DVD would be released before she starts her Asian dates, which is usually the in the second leg of the tour. For this time, the DVD was set to be released after the whole tour ends.

Filming for home DVD released was originally done on April 28 and April 29 2009 at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. However, fans reported that Namie Amuro was being ill during those 2 days, probably a cold. She apologized to her fans on her mobile blog for not being able to give them a worthy performance. I was telling my friend, Pei Zhen that we will probably be watching her performing weakly on the DVD player when the DVD comes out. I read from Namie fan's blog that she kinda gave up on hitting the high notes for Wishing On The Same Star. That was totally disappointing cos that is the performance I wanna watch the most.

To my surprise, filming of the concert had been done again during her tour in Taiwan. OMG, it's like the first overseas concert ever for her to be chosen to have a DVD release. I'm am so EXCITED! Her performance for the two dates in Taiwan was definitely much much better. The DVD concert will be a great one. I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER!!!! It's just like the macbook pro and ipod touch. I can't wait to get those too!

The Day of Transformation

That was the day I transformed in to a roller blader. Ha ha ha. Earlier on today, in the afternoon, my guy friends and I met up at East Coast Part for roller blading. You may be surprised, but that was the first time in my life roller blading. Well, yes a little too late comparing to my other guy peers who went. So, I picked up my courage and 2 hrs of blading began. I was pretty surprise to realise that I was able to pick up in no time, and oddly I didn't fall a single time while the others did. Maybe if I would be less careful about my every step, then... Oh well, I wouldn't mind roller blading again next time though I think cycling is much more fun. Ha ha.

Met up with my girl friends after blading for a movie. Yes! Transformer: Revenge of the Fallen! I remember we went to the same place 2 years ago to watch the first transformer movie. Ha ha, time flies. When the next transformer movie shows up (if it really does), we would be in exactly mid 20s? OMG.

Hello everyone, I'm back here to present you my latest video "I Did It For Love". It is a video which I had spent my non working days to work on. So people, I'm not too free huh, I'm just utilising my free time while not working.

Don't you think that everything you do has something to do with love, more specifically your love for something. You eat because you love food, or simply because you love survival for those who only eat to live. Let's say you don't like to eat, but you are an athlete. You will eat because eating will provide you with the energy you need to excel in your sports. So, you are eating for love. Not the love for food for this instance, but the love of your sports, your career. You are doing it for love. Ok, my theory is a bit out of mind and freaky, but yea... I did everything out of love, and I guess you are doing things for love too.

I'm so gonna watch this show on Thursday. I know I'm late, but I just couldn't find any brave soul to watch it with me. I have been hearing many good feedback about the show. I so so so wanna watch!

Fitness Plan

I've fallen sick. Luckily I was still able to pull through yesterday night without compromising my performance. Well, I don't have to work today. So, I hope I'll get well by tomorrow.

As I have said earlier, it's time for me to start working out and get fit again. So, I have a plan. I'm going to add running into my regime. In the past it's just running for the sake of warming up, but this time, I'm gonna really have a good running session. I guess it's good, cos although I'm getting skinnier, there's still some unwanted fats here and there to get rid of. After some thoughts, I've worked out a regime.
The regime in a typical week will be as followed:
1 week = 3 times gym workout
2 times running session (neighbourhood)
1 time swimming session
It will all be done on separate days, leaving one day of the week to rest.

Diet wise, I'm gonna start getting myself proper breakfast, like high nutrition value cereals, multi grain/whole meal bread, peanut butter, walnut, raisin and the list goes one. Increase my daily food intake(I've been eating too little lately). More carbs, more protein, more vegs, more fruits, less fat. I think getting myself cod liver's oil will be good, just as a basic supplement for extra vitamins and nutrition.

All right, I believe my health is going to get better. I'll start this regime immediately after I've recovered from this cold I'm having.

Hmm... should head down to the library later to do research on new gym routine plan.

Haven't been so tired for very long. Long hours of standing, walking, carrying, and I just had another interview for part-time model recommended by cousin Alison yesterday evening after work. The photos they took yesterday seem to be quite nice. They say I'm the big smile kind, sunny boyish kind, not the act cool kind. Maybe act cool yes, but with appropriate outfit. Lol. Anyway, I'm still tired and my body is aching bad from that just one day of orientation at the gym. Slept from 10 pm and woke up just now at 4 odd am. Gonna sleep a little more later and then have my second session of workout at the gym. I'm enjoying every moment now, cos I know I'm becoming useful.

Mooted Comeback

Today marks my first day in the gym after 3 months of break. As it was a weekday noon, the people there were mostly students or youngsters who didn't have to be in school at that hour, possibly poly or uni whatever. The point is, they are mostly hunky and well built. So, the first feeling I got when I entered the used to be very familiar environment was intimidating. I spotted a few stares, possibly thinking what was this weakling skinny boy doing here. Yes, I've lost weight and doesn't have the strength and size I used to possess before. In fact, I had problem handling almost all the workouts. Lack of strength, stamina to sustain. I was already feeling a little uneasy, due to the fact that I couldn't do a proper workout like before even with lighter weights and the fact that some people seemed to be observing me from a corner, like waiting for me to make a fool of myself. Well, that was an orientation for me. I believe I'll get better and hopefully better than before as I continue my regime.
The past quarter of the year has been a whole downhill for me. Financial wise, health wise, emotional wise, all in a mess. Getting a job is harder than I expect, let alone getting a good one. My health hasn't been really pleasing due to the constant pestering of my unbearable lower back problem. What has happened to me?! Emotionally, I can say I am not really happy and stable for the moment. Getting a job, the job itself and my studies. Big worries. To be honest, I'm still mending my heart myself, after the brief relationship I had late last year. Well, it's a sure thing I have to move on and catch better days, but it isn't easy when you kinda lose a little faith about love. It's an affair too much for me to handle, and my door hasn't been opened since then. Sorry people.
Blogging hasn't been really frequent this year, particularly the past 3 or 4 months. Kinda lost my momentum to blog since the start of my fully occupied days late last year. Another reason being there weren't much to write about, and pictures of my occasional outings can be found on Facebook. My life for the past few months is home home and home, like a boy next door to the extend I don't know what's the day of the week. Trust me, it gets pretty annoying and disturbing when this kind of life drags longer than it should. I felt like a corpse. Anyway, I'll try to care more about my blog as the day goes by. More frequent blogging for sure. Just wait and see.
I can say that now I'm slowly crawling back to my rightful path. Found a financial source, getting fit with today as the start, be cheerful and free. Moreover, I sort of know what to do about my studies. I just need to get procedures and materials smoothed out. I may be weak now, but just you wait & see. I'll be stronger. I'll make my comeback. I will increase my self worth.

The 15 days of Chinese New Year are finally over. OMG, so fast. Few words for this year's CNY, more ang bao, more money, but really bad times. I would never want to have CNY like this again.

EVE DAY - Reunion Dinner
As usual, dinner was at 2nd Aunt's place. The dishes she made were kinda like standard like every other past years, quite expected already, also not forgetting cousin Janelle's speciality, Ngoh Hiong (wu3 xiang1). Dinner was yummy! My cousin made me drink some of the liquor she had bought. OMG. Love them to the max man. I had Baileys and Choya. YUM YUM! Oh, and we also celebrated my dad's birthday with a cake Aunt Gina and I have bought. Happy Birthday Dad.

DAY 1 - The Big Day
I was supposed to go to St James that day, but yea fuck you idiot.

DAY 2 - I Hate You Fucker
I was supposed to meet Rayson for more visiting, but yea that fucker pissed me off. He should die la. I went out with Pei instead.

DAY 5 - Mario Kart Racing
My Aunt prepared some food to welcome guest. So, I asked my usual clique over to chill. My uncle's friends are supposed to come but they all backed out. We kinda had to finish the big amount of food my aunt prepared. Oh my god, my uncle's friends are so OMG la.

CLUBBING TRIPS
I did some clubbing during the CNY period. We tried out REBEL but it was really bad that day. There were only 20 people inside when we got there. The other people were probably still busy having their reunion dinner, but it was already 11 plus. OMG. The crowd only came in after 2. That was when the dance floor started to get more crowded. On another note, the ZOUK trip was much much more fun. It was so crowded though, but the company I had was great. I danced so much.

116 Days...

It has been more than 2 months since I last touched this blog. I guess I've been so distracted yet occupied with my life. Ha ha. Army is over for me and I'm embracing my new stage of life. I hope I really get myself the right path. I'm so getting old.

These past couple of months have been kinda taxing for me, emotionally. Lots of ups and downs, and now tide has sort of calmed, everything is back to square one for me.
Time to get up and stand by myself? :)

I wouldn't say those are bad times for me. I gave all my effort and time in exchange to learn to be stronger and move on. Oh well, life goes on. But I'll be waiting, cos I know I have long given myself away, can't take back. :)

We have well passed the month of October and here I am, being 22 (though I behave more like a 12 year old boy). I can say that this year's was less emotional then last year's. I guess I was too busy having outings and meeting friends this year. It's fun all the way this time with treats and joy. It feels so different when you have that special someone in your life. Everything just looks so fine and I thought I would never have a Birthday better than this.

So, I spent the brief but joyous period with family and friends. Took lots of pictures, which I am going to show them here, outing by outing.

I did this to my mum in the past, and now I turned my shit to my date. And yet, all these were tolerated and sucked in until it went overboard. I realised I wasn't treasuring what I'm having at all.

Yeah... another start to a wonderful weekend! Haven't been on the net for 2 weeks. During these 2 weeks, I have been serving NS as usual and also re-building myself which took up the most of my time. Ha ha ha. How to re-build? Hit the supermarket and stock up on my daily breakfast! Bread, spreads, cereals, milk, soy milk, cartons and cartons of various fruit juice. Back to the gym pumping iron! Climbing stairs and moving around frequently! Facial mask! MASK MASK MASK!!! Last but not least, feeding myself with MORE FOOD! Seriously, I have been fed with food, food, and more food ever since I was back. Buffet spread and more buffet spread, Chinese restaurant - curry fish head, Japanese food, western food - big big portion, a lot a lot of food at home - all kinds of food, and my aunt has been making herbal/tonic soup for us. FULL FULL FULL!!! Ha ha ha ha. . . I only took pictures for a few of the food I have eaten. Busy eating man. (Having my cabbage soup while typing this post.)

Hello everybody. I'm finally back. If you are wondering where have I been all these while, I'm just gonna tell you that I had a 30 days trip to this place called Neverland. One Month Hiatus

Yea. . . it has been a month. What have I been doing? It's going to camp as usual I guess and working out. Hmm... am gonna start stuffing myself with supplements very soon. I guess I'm a real hard-gainer. Grrr....

Also, I'm here to announce that JWJW is finally down to work with a new album titled "PROJECT 21 1/2". Yea yea yea, after 2 years since previous album, "J.W.J.W.". The next few months will be like a busy ride for us all, juggling work and "extra work" on weekends and public holidays. We sure will be enjoying it though. Stay tune for updates on our new album, and also the promoting work of the album which I'm very eager to create. WATCH OUT!!!

Life Update

My days have been really occupied for the past period since the start of Feb. Been taking up a new lifestyle, in hope to transform myself for the better. Everyday has been long long days for me. Sometime, I only managed to get home at 10 or even later. I remember reaching home at 11 once, and I still had to work the next day. Am I asking for sufferings? I guess not. I'm loving it. To make things easier, I have my buddy, Min Jie, with me. We are mad~~~ LOL.

I got very sick eventually, and here I am typing this post. I had to stay home for more than a week. Swollen throat. Unbearable shit. Days of doing nothing, but rotting at home. Anyway, I'm back in camp already and am almost recovered. Going back to track, back to the new and exciting lifestyle I was having. I'm so full of enthusiasm. There's so much energy in me, awaiting to stretch and expand myself. I wanna transform!

It was Valentine's Day in year 2004. I, being an aged 18 young teenager, was out in town. It was a day for the celebration of love, a day of romance and intimacy. Too bad, it wasn't for me, for I was still pretty much inside my nutshell. The idea of glass world to me was vague. Well, who would realise my existence.

So, there I was im Kinokunia getting myself a romance comic. I headed home with the comic, and spent the rest of the night with it. That was the Valentine's I had 4 years ago.

Turning 22, here I am facing yet another upcoming Valentine's. I belong to the glass world I can say, for I have already seen enough to have a vivid idea of what's going on. How will my Valentine's be like then? Like a workout session after work, and a single's meal at night to accompany me till the end of the day? I'm certain, it will be not much of a difference like when I was 18.

To make myself feel better, Valentine's Day is just another normal day. Well, Valentine's can just be like any other day, if you want it to be.

There was once an adorable kid, who was just like the other children: playful and mischievous. A day for the kid would just be like any other kids of his age. He goes to school, and plays with the other kids after school. Night does come eventually for the sleepyheads to turn in to their little beds. Well for this boy, this mommy boy, he had a thing he must do which was not exactly what the other kids would have to do as well. He did it that night, and every other nights. He would sit beside the phone and wait. . . waiting for mommy's call. He needs it every night, like how the other kids want their mothers to hug them. He needs it. Every conversation lasted not less than an hour. This boy was really in need of mother's love for the knowledge that his mother could not be beside him everyday then. For this little child, his need for the love from the parent was so demanding, that phone connection like that would never seem to be able to satisfy his need. Obviously, the child was never satisfied emotionally. All he wanted was to be hugged by her everyday.

Time passed, the little boy has grown to a young adult, (sometime a prey for other men). He doesn't seem to need mommy's hug anymore, he doesn't. Of course, he knows that the lack of emotional well being in his childhood will never be undone. It's just a past, and there's isn't actually anyone he wants to blame. It's just a way of life he feels, to have brought him to what he is today. Although he still feels that mommy's love would make him feel so good if he turns back time, he knows it better than anyone else that he (in current form) is up for something different. Yes, it's love. Yes, it can be a hug. Yes, he will want to wait beside the phone. He still needs love. He wants to be hugged. He has turned to a new group of people for the source of love. This could be him wanting to fill the love bottle his parents weren't able to finish, or it could just be that he's a different person now. Yes, he wants a hug... A hug from the specific kind of you.

The Christmas Part 2

It was yet another self ART & Craft practice the night before I went out with the guys. I always enjoy drawing and writing cards for the people I love, but I am never a good drawer or a good Art student. I'm just like the typical guy who produces ugly strokes and unglam hand writings. I went on with the idea despite my handicap, cos I truly wanted to show them my sincerity. Writing cards for guys is sure a weird weird kinda practice. But... I DON'T CARE! No one can stop me from expressing my words for them. Ha ha ha. And so, the Art lesson began.

Yeah~~~ Finally met the guys. Erm. . . but we had Pizza Hut for lunch. A bit scared of that liao. I just had it on the eve, remember? Lunch was a little not right for me. Couldn't eat well. Ha ha. . . Nevertheless, I was excited about going KTV with them later. And when I passed the little gifts to them, Kenny and Ziguo looked like so touched like that. Ha ha. . .You know. . . Jesmen's a sweet sweet guy.

The Christmas Part 1

It was Christmas Eve. Everyone was already feeling festive and being geared to the fullest for high level roller coaster fun. HAH~~~ For me, what I wanna do most for Christmas is to be able to gather with all my friends over good food and wine, good music, good company. So, in the evening of that day, I was getting ready to head down to the east to my JC mate's place for a joyous mini class meet-up. There were only 5 of us though: Sebastian, Cresencia, Intan, Xinyi and I. Xinyi came really late after her outing with her boyfriend. For the day at Sebastian's place, we were basically eating home delivery food, watching movies and MTVs, drinking, chit-chatting and laughing, and of course cam whoring. How could I allow picture taking to be out of the activities to do?!! Ha ha... Feast your eyes people.

IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!

Next up will be the big Christmas Day. The event of the day was really unexpected, as Wendy called us the previous night saying she couldn't join us. OMG! That was a devastating damage on me for a moment. But I came to realise nowadays that, it isn't rare to have one of us missing on big days, days like Valentine's, Mid-Autumn(we totally skipped this), my birthday(!!!), and now Christmas. We were supposed to be playing our game GOBCOH on the day. With one member less, we just had to push it to a later date and find a new activity. SO... we went to SENTOSA!!! HAPPENING!!! *FAINT* Never would I imagine that my Christmas would be spent at Sentosa Island. That's totally erm... weird. Well, with JWJW, anywhere will be just fine. Best company, best moments, best memories. None of us were familiar with the island cos we haven't been going there often enough. Somehow, we got tired easily and didn't manage to go to the places we wanted to explore. Thus, we decided to go cam whoring again at SILOSO beach and nearby area. We took really weird couple pictures and other even weirder self pics. All thanks to me...

I've just had my worst dinner of the year on last Sunday. It's not forgivable because it wasn't food from some kopitiam, but from a pretty posh looking eating place @ Suntec. Anyway, it is was bad bad dining. The company was good though, with Mr. Lee and Kang Tai.

A random debate over music & lyrics culture.

Recently, Waterfall and I have this little debate about music culture, particularly Chinese and Japanese music. It started from this little god-brother of mine, who often viewed Chinese song too love based and sometime to much with it's love story, making it not really enjoyable for prolong listening. He feels that Japanese music is much more interesting as, there are many songs that talk about other stuff. Waterfall appeared to be quite defensive regarding this, saying that Chinese music is not all about love songs, and that Japanese songs so have love songs too. Well after all, Chinese music is what she listens to most. It's understandable she has got to take side. The little debates, as always, ended uncomfortably with neither side being convincing.

As for me, since years back, I have already been comparing the difference between the two cultures. It's pretty obvious and undeniable that most Chinese songs are love song, many many different kind of love songs. After all, love songs are what that would easily touch the people's heart. The world is about love yea... For me, I'm personally addicted to listening really sad sad love songs. Believe me, Chinese songs do have a lot of these. And yes, there are definitely Chinese songs that aren't love songs. In fact, you can bring out many many of them. For every one song you bring, I can bring you 10 love songs. This is what happens in any music culture. Love songs rule.

Similarly, Japanese music does contain lots of love songs. Love songs probably fill half the place or more that half the place of Japanese commercial music. The rest of the place is probably filled with songs that talk about things like, being optimistic about life and strive for the best, the sea, their passion and etc. It is probably the way the lyrics are, which make Japanese songs very different. Even, when it is a love song, it doesn't sound like you are very very painfully in love and like you are going to die. It's always use beautiful words to portray the story of the songs.

If you ask me which side do I stand, both music cultures have their own unique ways that none of us can change. It's a style and tradition which was passed down through decades and has evolved beautifully along its path.

Regardless of where I stand...

Music is all about love and passion.

It's an easy thing to get my feel.

Few days back, I came across Mr. Lee's blog and saw a post he has written for me. It is a post about my little birthday gathering more than a month back. Mr, Lee... don't make it sound so sad can? You make me feel bad lo. In the post, he mentioned "对于Jesmen，我心中都有一股亏欠，是那种对于兄弟之间，不够关心的亏欠。". Oh my god please, very tears inducing . You make me miss the time back then, when I was much a simpler person.

It is true that we spend less time together nowadays. It's not that I want this to happen, but like what you have said, we all have our own life to live and go on. To be honest, I feel that your place in my heart has dropped pretty much through these years. Probably due to the change in feelings towards you. Despite the very different paths we are leading, I can touch my heart and say that Mr. Lee is one such of a good friend I can ever have. There's just something he has that is so different from the other people. The simplicity, the kindness. It's a place much peaceful and less vunerable with him.

Ok enough said about this. MR. LEE, WANT TO MEET ME FOR LUNCH OR DINNER PLEASE JUST TELL ME. DON'T BE SO BUSY!!! Or maybe I should just initiate. LOL Alright, take care my bro.

Today, I wanna talk about another issue. I guess the locals are sure aware about the recent tragedy happened in Cambodia. Hmm... guess I'm pretty affected by the death of some of the members, especially one who I idolise pretty much. Maybe some of you guys are already very tired and miserable about reading this, but just let me put down my thoughts about it here once and for all.

One day, I was happily watching him doing his show on stage. Other days, I kept bumping to his pictures ont he net. And another day, he was on the newspaper... for a bad news. Sometime I wanna feel sad for him, I probably should since he's such an idol to me. Hmm.. but don't know why, I just can't find the correct feeling to correspond with my thoughts. It's like you want to be sad and should be, but something is hindering you from being so. Maybe, I don't know him much. Or, maybe death is something I have forgotten about fearing anymore. You will always have a place in my heart Reuben Kee.

Meat Market Part II

My friend posted me a question, asking me if I would be sold out one day.

Well, I guess my meat will always be there. When someone buys me, I can be discarded and later hang up for sales again. It's like a cycle. What the second buyer got less is not the physical attribute, but the emotional value. But again, who would care about being emotional in the meat market. Cos in the meat market it's all about physical devouring. The only way I can be sold out is when I'm totally taken out of the meat market scene. that's when someone holy enough, and powerful enough, rescues me. By then, I will not need to stay in the ugly market anymore. Waiting for someone to rescue myself is rare, really rare. Who knows that someone might be just another member of the meat market. He might be disguise. It's a sad sad society here. Where physical attributes count big time.

I can't say I'm an active member in the meat market, cos I'm in self denial now, I'm trying to escape. But no matter how, everyone here falls into the market in parts of their life. The temptation, the needs, the wants to be needed, the thrills. Guys want some interesting and new. It's a thing so natural and set, that no one can ever change it. If you ask me, of course I would wanna be out of this market. I had enough of dealing with market value and blah blah. Makes me thing of the Oricon chart, how Koda Kumi, Ayumi, Namie and blah blah are doing there. Lol... It's like competing on our sales rate. So tiring. Deep down, I know that my market value has being like dropping, cos it's a competitive market here. I'm kinda sick of selling and be indulge with all the superficial issues.

If someone is ever willing to show me that there's actually another more beautiful world out there, please take me along with you. Show me that this circle I'm in is filled with only lust and cruelty.

It's all about being able and have the ability and capability to get the good meat here. It's a competitive world where look & bod counts.(maybe even height and charm) Individuals who lack any of these inevitably lose out in the hunt.
